Jimmy Lee Goodman was born January 30, 1954 in Celeste, Texas to J W and Nancy Bishop Goodman.
He married his bride of 46 years, Sandra Kay Thomas Goodman, on December 5, 1974. Jimmy is survived by his wife and their 3 grown children, Stanly and his wife Yujie, Nancy Jo Goodman Flournoy and her husband Chris, and Bobby Goodman and his wife Kimberly.
He is survived by six grandchildren, Kaylee, 16, Sandy, 15, William, 15, Rachel, 14, Wayne, 6, and Xander, 3. He is survived by his mother-in-law, Sallye Jo Tucker Thomas, sister Betty Key, sister and husband Billie Nell and Ralph Pickerill, brother-in-law and wife, Steven and Lisa Thomas, and sister-in-law Linda Jo Goodman. He is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.He was preceded in death by his parents, his father-in-law Charles Stanly Thomas, his infant grandson James Lee Flournoy, his brother Bobby Ray Goodman, and his brother-in-law Alves Clyde Key. Services will be held Sunday, July 25, 2021 at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel in Greenville, Texas. Visitation at 2PM and services at 3PM. Private burial will be at a later date at Hogeye-Celeste Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please send condolence cards to the family with fond memories of Jimmy.
