Joseph Don Blair Sr. was a beloved member of the Lone Oak community in Texas, known for his hard work and dedication as a carpenter and forklift operator. Born on May 3, 1972, in Dallas, Texas, Joseph brought warmth and joy to the lives of those around him until his passing on September 17, 2023, in Wills Point.

Joseph’s career as a carpenter showcased his skill and craftsmanship. Whether constructing homes or creating intricate furniture pieces, he left a lasting legacy through his work. As a forklift operator, he was known for his unwavering precision and efficiency.

While Joseph’s professional achievements were admirable, it was his devotion to family that truly defined him. He cherished every moment spent with his grandkids and loved ones. To Joseph, nothing brought more happiness than being surrounded by the laughter and love of his family.

Beyond work and family, Joseph had a passion for various hobbies and interests. Fishing allowed him to find solace in nature, while disc golf challenged his skills and provided friendly competition. Playing pool brought out his playful side and fostered many memorable moments with friends.

Joseph’s passing comes as a great loss to his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all the lives he touched.

Services honoring the life of Joseph Don Blair Sr. will be held at Faith Outreach in Greenville on September 25, 2023. Visitation will take place from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. His final resting place will be in Donelton Cemetery in Lone Oak.

Joseph leaves behind cherished memories with his surviving family members including Janet Bell (mother), Annie Fischer (daughter), Elizabeth Blair (daughter), Joseph Blair II (son), David Blair (brother), Scott Blair Sr. (brother), Carroll Corker (brother), Catherine Ross (sister), Randy Fischer (grandson), Jameson Miller (grandson), Ariya Fischer (granddaughter), Josephine Blair (granddaughter), Jackson Miller (grandson), and Adalynne Fischer (granddaughter), Steve Bell (uncle), Linda Bell (Aunt).

Joseph was preceded in death by his father, John Blair, nephew Michael Blair, niece Brittany Blair, uncles Dempsey Bell, Donnie Bell, Pat Nail, and aunt Sharon Nail.
