Juanita Beth Colbert, 94, of Quinlan, passed away on December 15, 2022, at the Senior Suites Nursing Home in Emory. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 19,2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the chapel of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with Dr. James Ralson officiating. Burial will follow at Memoryland Memorial Park. Visitation will be Sunday, December 18, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Juanita was born November 24, 1928, in Farmersville, Texas to Ben L. Gertie Hargrove Clark. She married J. R. Colbert on September 21, 1950, in Hunt County, Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of Lamar Baptist Church.
Juanita is survived by her son, Glenn Colbert and wife, Denise; daughters, Phyllis Lynn Colbert Sherman and husband, Charles, Sandra Kay Colbert; grandchildren, Larry Woodson, Kellie Lamm, Jackie Colbert, Terry Woodson, Chasity Gosnell, Brandy Thomas; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, J. W. Clark and grandson, Jason Woodson.
Pallbearers will be Andrew Morgan, Anthony Colbert, Colby Hilleary, Andrew Gosnell, Terry Gosnell and Brett Lamm.
