June Neatherlin, 82, passed through the gates of heaven on February 12, 2023, surrounded by family. A Rosary will be 2:00 P.M., Saturday, February 25, 2023, at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Lee Davis officiating, a memorial service will follow at 2:30 P.M. with Rev. Jimmy Vaughn officiating.
She was born on April 18, 1940, to John and Mattie Mae True in Breckenridge, TX. She married James William Neatherlin on February 7, 1959, at St. Leo’s Catholic Church in San Antonio, TX.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her sisters-Treva Wright, Ruth Anderson, and Jane Garrett; 4 children-James William Neatherlin Jr, Teresa Neatherlin, Judith Rose Neatherlin, Julia Mae Prince and son-in-law Carl L. Evans.
She is survived by her children Jason and Jeaneen Neatherlin, Janice Evans, Jean and Robert Klinger, John and Jessica Neatherlin, Jennifer and Kevin Lindenzweig; grandchildren-Cassie and Jarrod Buck, Dereck Evans, Jason Evans, Matthew Klinger, Jennifer and Greg Renoud, Rick Klinger, Jessica Klinger, True Neatherlin, Wheatley Neatherlin, Kelsey and Brant Sims, Gage Lindenzweig, Madison Lindenzweig, Mary Lucas, Samuel Jones, Jennifer Graves, Leona Clinton and Sheila Clinton; 26 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
June was a self-taught professional seamstress, artist, teacher’s aide, lifeguard, and former employee of Texas Tag in Wolfe City, TX. She was a loving sister, daughter, wife, mother, friend, aunt, and grandmother. She was an active member of the Women’s Guild at St. Williams Catholic Church for many years. She loved her church and her children with all her heart. She enjoyed spending time with friends and serving others. She was a firm believer in the quality of life, living within your means, being honest, being responsible, being respectable, and being safe. She will be missed by all those who knew her. She is rejoicing and dancing again!
