Kristy Lynn Stewart, 50, of Royse City, passed away on August 12, 2023, in McKinney, Texas. A celebration of her life will take place at a later date. Coker-Mathews Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Kristy was born October 31, 1972, in Greenville, Texas, to George and Eula Stark. She married Jerry Stewart on December 22, 1995, in Greenville, Texas.
Kristy loved watching the birds, as Cardinals were her favorite. In her spare time, she enjoyed collecting bird houses, decorating for the holidays, and watching her favorite shows. Ultimately, she was passionate about surrounding herself with those she loved.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Stewart; daughters, Sara McCasland and Shelby Stewart; sisters, Tammy Hampton and husband, Jimmy, Deandra Wiggs and husband, Nicholas; grandchildren, Kaydon and Kolt.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
