Leo D. Rhodes, 76 of Greenville Texas, passed away on December 8, 2021. He was born in Sulphur Springs, Texas on March 22, 1945 to Leo D., Sr. and Olee (James) Rhodes.
Leo proudly served his country in the US Army.
He loved the Lord and was a faithful member of the Baptist faith all of his life. He served as a Deacon for Shady Grove Baptist Church in Greenville and was a member of First Baptist Church of Greenville where he had served as an usher.
He lived a full and well-rounded life.
Leo is survived by his sons, Greg Rhodes, John Rhodes and wife Angkana; daughter, Melanie Cobb and husband Steve; grandchildren, Jarrod Rhodes, Emily Hernandez and husband Francisco, Tyler Rhodes, Alison Rhodes, Garrett Cobb, Ethan Rhodes; great-grandchildren, Landon Hernandez, Emma Hernandez, Gabriel Rhodes; along with a host of loving relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife of 49 years, Phyllis Rhodes.
Leo leaves lasting and wonderful memories for his family and friends.
There will be a Memorial Service at 6:30 PM on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 in the Lynch Funeral Service Chapel in Greenville, Texas with Pastor Jimmy Vaughn officiating.
