Leobardo V. Martinez, Jr., known to his friends as Leo/Sid of Greenville, TX passed away on July 3, 2020. Born on September 2, 1981 in Magnum, OK, he was 38 years old. Leo loved spending time with his family and was a loving father. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed going fishing and listening to his favorite musical band, Metallica.
Leo is survived by his wife, Heather Mae Martinez, they had been together for 7 years; children, Brandy Point, Axel Dean Rushing Martinez, Keira Rushing Musick, and Penelope Greensage; parents, Leobardo Martinez, Sr. and Evelyn Tooley, and Suzie Miel; siblings, Sephanie Berry, Tiffany Cheek, Miguel Martinez; uncles and aunts, Wanyne and Holly Vaughn, Jimmy Vaughn, Toni Wallington, Marilyn Shigley Tooley, Tim Tooley, Ignacio Martinez, Jr., George Martinez, Herminia Pina, Patricia Johnson and Andrea Martinez; father and mother-in-law, Frank and Helen Garwood; numerous nieces and nephews; extended family members and friends, Keith Katzenmaier, Mandee-Beth Smith, Laura Erwin, J.D. Sampson, Mary Vogt, Benjamin Rosselot, Tiffany Boykin, James Attaway and Brooke Attaway; along with a host of loving relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by a brother, Bruce Martinez, and his grandmother, Elaine Vaughn and grandfather, Ignacio Martinez, Sr.
