Lino G. Galvan, 61, of Greenville, passed away on September 13, 2023, in Greenville, Texas. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jose Amaya officiating. Interment will be in Memoryland Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at the funeral home.
Mr. Galvan was born September 23, 1961, in Cerritos, Mexico, to Joaquin Galvan and Zeferina Gonzalez. He married Maria Castillo on July 11, 1986, in Greenville, Texas, and had been happily married for 37 years. He took pride in his handmade custom saddles and worked for Cactus Saddlery for many years as a saddlemaker.
He is survived by his loving wife, Maria Galvan, his children, Daniel, Norma, and Oscar Galvan, his two grandchildren, Natilie and Roman McCrary, his siblings, Martha Gonzalez, Eusebio Galvan, Zenaida Galvan, Federico Galvan, Eva Gonzalez and Joaquin Gonzalez and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, his sister, Maria Luisa Gonzalez and his brother, Javier Gonzalez.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Galvan, Oscar Galvan, Cesar Galvan, Eddie Galvan, Gregory McCrary and Natilie McCrary.
