Lisa Michelle (Miller) Smith, 53  of Quinlan, passed away on August 17, 2022.  She was born on August 24, 1968 to Michael Carl and Carolyn (Butler) Miller in Garland, Texas.

Lisa cared for and adored children. She spent 20 plus years working and then retiring as a preschool teacher at Wesley Christian Academy in Rowlett.

Most of all Lisa was a family oriented lady.  She dearly loved her husband, mother, children and grandchildren and was very involved in each of their lives.  She loved to cook family meals and desserts, and will be remembered for her special roast beef dinners complete with potatoes and carrots, along with the dozens of cookies she made for her grandchildren.  In addition, she loved to take random road trips and go camping with family.  She was extremely gifted with crafting abilities.  She could turn any  item into a beautiful creation.

Lisa leaves lasting and wonderful memories for her family and friends.

Lisa is survived by her loving husband of  32 years, Roy Smith; son,  Michael Smith; daughter, Sadie Smith; grandson, Greyson Alford; granddaughter, Sawyer Smith; mother, Carolyn Miller; four beloved dogs, Otis, Tuff, Koda, and Paisley; Milo the cat; along with a host of loving relatives and friends.
