Lynn Rickman went home to be with her Lord and Savior on February 15, 2025. Lynn was born to T.J. and Tommie Fannin Stringer in Dallas, Texas on April 21, 1954.
Lynn was married to Ralph D. Smith for over 20 years before he preceded her in death. Lynn remarried to Billy W. Rickman Jr. and was married for over 26 years before her death. Lynn is survived by her husband Billy W. Rickman Jr. and six sons and their wives:
David and Debbie Smith, Chad and Vickie Smith, Billy and Tammy Smith, Jason and Tammy Smith, Bobby and Janet Rickman, and Brandon Rickman. Thirteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren also several nieces and nephews that she was very close to.
While raising her boys she was always involved in their activities. She was a 4-H leader and became very involved in the Hunt County Fair and Livestock Show. She was also very involved in their Texas High School Rodeo Association and went to rodeos all across the state.
Lynn worked as a veterinary animal technician and later at the Greenville Post office for many years. After moving to Kaufman, she also worked at the Kaufman County Courthouse for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, T.J. and Tommie Stringer, her sister Mickey R. Smith, and her brother, Johnny Stringer.
There will be a private burial service, and the family will conduct a memorial service at Harvest Bible Church on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at 2pm.
