Margaret Yvonne Bennett, 73, of Greenville, passed away on September 30, 2023, at Legends Healthcare and Rehab. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, October 5, 2023, in the chapel of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with Bro Johnny Hailes and Dr. Larry Morris officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 1:00 PM until service time.
Margaret was born on December 12, 1949, in Mobile, Alabama to Cecil Tubbs and Audrey Willis Tubbs. Margret married Rodney Bennett on June 28, 1969, in Mobile, Alabama. Margaret was retied from Raytheon and a member of Park Street Baptist Church.
Margaret is survived by her husband Rodney Bennett, sons Brian Bennett, Rodney G. Bennett Jr. and wife Andrea, Nicholas E. Bennett and wife Holley, grandchildren Rachel, Kane, Evan, Shelby, Skyler, Austin, Nikki, Christian, three great-grandchildren and aunt Brenda Erwin.
Margaret is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister.
