It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Maria De Jesus Galvez De Carrillo, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, at the age of 89. Maria was born in El Plateado, Zacatecas, Mexico, on March 16, 1936, to Pedro Galvez and Elisa Salazar.
Maria was a devoted homemaker and a lifelong member of the Catholic Church. She was the loving mother of fifteen children and will be deeply missed by her family. She is survived by her children: Jose Luis, Socorro, Rogelio, Lidia, Daniel, Manuel, Guadalupe, Javier, Miguel, Alvaro, Raul, Elisa, Antonio, and Alfredo, forty-four grandchildren, thirty-eight great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Luis Carrillo, and her son, Luis Fernando Carrillo.
Maria’s legacy of love, faith, and family will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
