Minnie Ola Hulse Bowen, 99, of Greenville, Texas passed away on July 31, 2023. She was a lifelong resident of Hunt County. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 4, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at the chapel of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with Rev. Kelly Reagan officiating. Burial will follow at Memoryland Memorial Park. Visitation will be at 9:00 a.m. until service time.
Mrs. Bowen was born on April 29, 1924, in Caddo Mills, Texas to Aaron Robert and Rosa Woodall Hulse. She was a Quinlan High School graduate of 1941. She married George Bowen in 1973.
She is survived by her daughter, Rosa Bell Owens and husband, Paul; son, Robert Foster and wife, Christi; grandchildren, Cherie Owens Dejoie and husband, Roy II, Colby Owens, Dustin Foster, Todd Herndon and wife, Heidi; great-grandchildren, Julianne Dejoie Pollard and husband, Mark, Makenne Dejoie, Arianna Dejoie, Roy Dejoie, III, Dominic Dejoie, Sim Owens, Coralee Owens, Memphis Herndon, Hollis Herndon, Holt Herndon; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Minnie is preceded in death by her parents; husband; grandson, Steven Francis Owens; sisters, Werd Harper, Eva Easterwood, Buena Davis, Mildred Allen, Hallie Ernest; and brother, James Robert (Bud) Hulse.
