Pearl Daisey Sturgeon Pointer, age 101, passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2020 in Greenville, Texas. Pearl was born May 22, 1919 in Antlers Oklahoma; the daughter of John and Kathrine Sturgeon. On June 12, 1945 Pearl married George Richard Pointer in Antlers, Oklahoma, where they went on to have six children.
Pearl is survived by her her five children; Evelyn Hall, Butch Pointer, Shirley Billings, George Jr Pointer, Dorie Butzboh, and 30 grand and great-grandchildren.
Pearl is preceded in death by her parents John and Kathrine Sturgeon, her husband George Richard Pointer, daughter Pauline Pointer, and her five siblings; Buster Sturgeon, Earl Sturgeon, Ruby Hatcher, Jewel Hatcher, and Emma Jones.
