Ralph Weldon Wylie, 80 of Royse City, passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2019 in Quinlan. Ralph was born on September 23, 1939 in Denton, the son of Ralph and Dorothy Lee (Anderson) Wylie. He married Norma Jean Franklin on September 13, 1975 in Arlington. He owned and operated a local grocery store.
Ralph is preceded in his death by his parents, Ralph and Dorothy Wylie; brother, Travis Wylie; grandson, Zackary Snyder; 1 nephew and 2 nieces.
Those who are cherishing the memories of his life are his wife, Norma Wylie; son, Sam Pruett (Anita); daughter, Laura Braddock (Ricky); son, John Pruett; son, Gary Pruett; daughter, Lisa Snyder (Steve); daughter, Renee McCoy; son, Peter L. Wylie; 10 Grandchildren; 3 Great-Grandchildren; sisters, Nancy Cooper, Judy Agedo (Ignacio II), Kay Wylie; and many nieces and nephews.
Public visitation with Ralph’s family will be Monday, October 21, 2019 in the chapel of Quinlan Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Quinlan Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Combs officiating. Interment will follow the service at 2:00 PM at Laurel Land Memorial Park in Dallas.
