Ricky Ray Treat, a dedicated truck driver for Black Jack Disposal, Ricky spent his entire life working in sanitation. Ricky was born on February 21, 1969, in Jonesboro, Arkansas and passed away on November 28, 2023.
Ricky was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend. He is survived by his loving wife Thelma Treat and their children Lisa Bowers, Jerry Richardson, Amanda Priest, Ricky Ray Treat Jr., Christina Treat, and Brandon Treat. Ricky was also blessed with eleven granddaughters and three grandsons who brought immense joy to his life. His family meant everything to him, and he cherished every moment spent with them. Ricky is also survived by his sisters; Karen Loeb, Connie Treat, and Samantha Morgan and his brothers; Cliff and Clay Treat.
Not only was Ricky dedicated to his family but he also had a deep passion for a few hobbies that brought him happiness throughout his life. He was a self-proclaimed number one supporter of the Dallas Cowboys Football team and never missed a game. Ricky could be found cheering loudly for his favorite team from the comfort of his living room. Fishing and camping were also among his favorite pastimes as he loved being surrounded by nature and found tranquility beside the water. In addition to that, Ricky enjoyed playing darts and pool with friends and family.
While Ricky had an active social life and enjoyed engaging in various activities, he always carried a sense of responsibility towards his work. For many years he worked as a truck driver for Black Jack Disposal where he dedicatedly served to keep our streets clean. Ricky’s hard work and commitment in the field of sanitation will always be remembered.
A man of loyalty and integrity, Ricky Ray Treat had a heart full of love for those around him. His infectious laughter could light up any room and his warm smile made everyone feel at ease in his presence. Ricky’s best friend Bubba “Glen” Wise, and he shared countless memories and adventures together. Their friendship was truly one for the ages.
Ricky is preceded in death by his parents Donna Edgar and Donny Treat; brother Tim Treat; his brother-in-law Bob Loeb; and his best friend Bubba “Glen” Wise.
Ricky’s passing has left a void in the lives of his family and friends that can never be filled. However, it is important to remember the beautiful memories he left behind. It is these memories that will serve as a reminder of his love, kindness, and the joy he brought into the lives of all those who knew him.
