Robert Danny “Chilie” Gonzales, 66, of Greenville, passed away on October 1, 2020 in Greenville. A graveside service will be 2:00 P. M., Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at Caddo Mills I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 A.M. to 4 P.M., Monday, October 5, 2020 at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.
Mr. Gonzales was born February 20, 1954 in Greenville, Texas to Isabel “Nick” Gonzales and Ramona Garcia. He married Maria Zapata on April 8, 1979 in Greenville, Texas. He worked as a Saddle maker and was a member of St. Williams Catholic Church. He loved the game of softball and was known to be found on the field.
He is survived by his wife, Maria Gonzales; sons, Robert Gonzales, Jr., Mario Gonzales and Ruben Gonzales; brothers, John, Joe and Gabriel; sisters, Delores, Mary, Connie, Victoria; grandchildren, Marina, Maya And Mariela.
He was preceded in death by his father.
