Stan ‘Eagle’ Hand, age 68, of Quinlan passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2020 in Greenville. A Celebration of his life will be held from 9:00am – 12:00pm on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at Ingram Funeral Home in Quinlan.

Stanley Kristopher Hand was born on December 15, 1951 in Amarillo, Texas to the late Mr. Clifford Wayne Hand and Mary Ann Longacre Hand. He moved to Wills Point in 1987 and met his future wife, Laneva Mclain in June of that year. They made their home in Wills Point where he owned and operated ‘Stan Hand the Tire Man’ Tire Shop for 10 years. He also worked driving trucks for Warren Trucking and other transport companies. Stan had the nickname ‘Eagle’ and had a passion for motorcycles, collecting model cars and playing pool. He also enjoyed spending his free time on the lake skiing, boating, and riding jet skis.

He is loved and will be missed by his devoted wife, Laneva of Quinlan; stepson, Timothy Lee Mclain and wife Patricia of Quinlan; daughter, Jerri Mealinda Stapleton of Quinlan; brothers, Richard Hand of Lewisville and Rocky Hand and wife Pat of Shelbyville; 12 Grandchildren, 12½ great grandchildren, his K9 kid dog Rocky Hand and many numerous friends including his special friends David Holland, Paul Northcutt and Charlie Druery
