Funeral service for Robert Edgar Thompson, Jr., age 58, of Wolfe City will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at Peters Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service. Joseph Roberts, Brandon Thompson, Bobby Thompson, Robert Ortiz, Sr., Robert Olivo, and Treavor Wood serving as pallbearers. Parker Thompson and Jackson Olivo serving as honorary pallbearers. Robert passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at Texoma Medical Center.
Robert was born on October 11, 1963 to Robert Sr. and Evelyn Thompson in Miami Florida. He was a plumber for many years and enjoyed carpentry and loved spending time with his kids and grandkids.
Robert is survived by his son, Bobby Thompson and wife, Katy; daughter, Mandi Olivo and husband, Robert; granddaughters, Keelie Thompson, Allee Olivo, Elena Thompson; grandsons, Parker Thompson, Jackson Olivo, and Lucas Thompson; sisters, Teresa Ortiz and husband, Robert, Tonya Thompson and spouse, John Brown; nephews, Brandon Thompson and wife, Carrie, Robert Ortiz, and Kyle Ortiz; nieces, Shelina Bell and husband, Jeremy, Tasha Wilson and spouse, Jacob Buck, Cierra Thompson and spouse, Treavor Wood, and Rebekka Thompson, along with numerous great-nieces and nephews.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Evelyn Thompson; sister, Elizabeth Thompson; mother-in-law, Elizabeth Scarborough, and granddaughter, Natalie Olivo.
