Sandra Rene “Sandy” Raye, 52, of Greenville, Texas passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 in Greenville. Sandy was born on July 2, 1967 in La Mesa, California to Richard and Susan (Mulder) Thein. She married Daryl Ross Raye in Poway, California on April 22, 1989. They were married for 30 years. She was a devoted wife, caring mother, grandmother and loved working with children at vacation bible school.
Sandy is survived by her husband, Daryl; daughter, Courtney Kilmer; son, Andrew Raye; daughters, Samantha Raye, Ashley Raye; grandchildren, Jaxson, Brooklynn; parents, Richard and Susan Thein; brother, Richard Thein; numerous nieces, family, and friends.
Sandy is preceded in her death by her mother-in-law, Varah Raye.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 9, 2019 at 11:00 AM, at Peters Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Highland Terrace Baptist Church Vacation Bible School, in Greenville, Texas.
