Shane Ray Sides, 37, of Caddo Mills, Texas, was born in Wylie, Texas, to Teresa Pruett and Howard Sides on December 8, 1983. He left this earth in the early morning hours of February 10, 2021, due to COVID complications.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, February 26, 2021, at Round Pen Cowboy Church at 5620 N FM 148/Michael Talty Avenue in Terrell, Texas, with Associate Pastor Justin Barham officiating under the direction of Ingram Funeral Home.
Shane had his HVAC license and spent many years working as a foreman in the landscaping business, but his heart belonged to laughter. He could make anyone laugh, especially himself. His chuckle came from his belly and when he laughed everyone else laughed, too. He will forever be gone too soon and missed beyond measure. Our family mourns greatly over this tragic loss.
He is survived by his only son Dylan Ray Sides of Caddo Mills, Texas, his wife Marissa Walker-Sides of Rockwall, Texas, his mother and step-father Teresa and Gordon Pruett of Princeton, Texas, his father Howard Sides of Quinlan, Texas, his siblings Carla and Ray Kimberling of Princeton, Texas, Kevin and Trish Sides of Rockwall, Texas, Samantha and Jermichael Edwards of Greenville, Texas, Starr Sides of Princeton, Texas, Krysta and Kent Bates of Blue Ridge, Texas, Jamie and Sydney Pruett of McKinney, Texas, Amy and Ben Shewmake of McKinney, Texas, and his nieces and nephews Chase and Mason Kimberling, Hailey and Chelsie Sides, Skylah, Kayden, and Jayda Edwards, Haley Bates, Jase and Jasper Pruett, Danielle Bellar, Trevor Brown, Brooke Richardson and Brooke Kelley.
Pallbearers will be Chase Kimberling, Mason Kimberling, Youssef Rizkalla, Jerry Lawson, Gary Gray, Duane Davis, and Patrick Hamilton.
