Suzanne Money, 75, of Greenville, Texas, went to join her Lord and Savior on the morning of June 26, 2023 surrounded by her family in Greenville, Texas. Suzanne was born on April 23, 1948, in Grand Prairie, Texas, to Dorothy and Rufus Walker.
Suzanne and Sammy Boyd Money married on December 31, 1964. They had been married 48 years.
Suzanne was a hard worker, she owned and operated her own cosmetology business for over 20 years in Greenville, called Hair Cuts Unlimited. She loved traveling and would go on cruises as well as visit a plethora of casinos in Vegas and Oklahoma. She also had many scrapbooks that documented her travels. Suzanne loved and cherished her family deeply. She could often be found spending time with her children and grandchildren. Suzanne was an avid fan of going to watch her granddaughter, Miss T, play softball; she never missed a game.
Suzanne is survived by her children: Shonna Hilger and husband Shane, Sammy “Joe” Money, and Scott Money; grandchildren: Ryan Glenday, William Justin Pearce and husband Jason Pearce, and Tennley Grace Money aka “Miss T”; great-grandchildren: Weston Blake Glenday and Addie Mae Glenday; sister, Vickie Minchew and husband Ronny; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of loving friends and family.
Suzanne is preceded in death by her husband, Sammy Boyd Money, her parents, and sister Barbara Love, a son in law Billy Glenday, and nephew Bryan Bolton.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2023, at Lynch Funeral Service in Greenville, Texas, starting at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at the Money Cemetery in Greenville, Texas. A visitation will be held the prior evening, at Lynch Funeral Service from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM.
