Services for Thelma Jane Hall Hunt, 83, of Point, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Monday, August 3, 2020, at Lone Oak Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Calk and Bro. Robert Cook officiating under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home, Lone Oak.
Interment will be in Forrest Park Cemetery, Greenville.
Mrs. Hunt passed away July 30, 2020, at her residence in Point. She was born April 7, 1937, in Brashear, to Roy Lee and Thelma Harriet Tarrant Hall. Jane lived twenty-seven years in Hunt County and the past fourteen years in Rains County and was a member of Lone Oak Baptist Church. She was a School teacher for twenty years, teaching mostly kindergarten. Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Walker Hooker Hunt, Jr; three brothers; and six sisters.
Survivors include two sons, Walker Hunt, III and wife Tami of Cypress and Kenny Hunt and Wife Shellye of Point; two daughters, Carrie James and husband Bob of Royse City and Nancy Brumit and husband Scott of Point; twelve grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends. The family would like to give special thanks to her amazing caregivers, Cori Slemmons, Joanna Jones, Josie Cowen and Rhonda West.
Pallbearers will be Walker H. Hunt, IV, Benjamin James, Hayden Hunt, Ethan Hunt, Chad Brumit, Garrett Brumit, Hunter Brumit, Gage Brumit, and Tom Kearns.
Jonathan Northcutt will serve as an honorary pallbearer.

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Sunday, at Bartley Funeral Home, Lone Oak.
