Toni Lynn Hunter, 73, of Quinlan passed away on August 27, 2024, at her residence. A graveside service will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City with Mr. Jimmy Hyde officiating. Visitation will be on Monday, September 2, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.
Toni was born in Greenville, Texas on February 28, 1951, to Weldon Leon Gossett and Mary Strayhorn Gossett. Toni was retired from the Hunt County Tax Office License and Registration Department and was of the Church of Christ faith.
Toni is survived by husband; Perry Benthul, sons; Jeremy Hunter and wife, Christy of Wolfe City, John Ketcham and wife Stephanie of McKinney, daughter; Keli Hunt and husband Matt of The Colony, step-children; James Benthul, Gwendolyn Benthul-Fatheree and husband, Kenneth, and ten grandchildren.
Toni is preceded in death by her husband David Hunter; parents; and infant daughter, Mindy.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Hunter, John Ketcham, Bobby Whitaker, Matt Hunt, and Shelby Tippit.
The honorary pallbearer will be Justin Roundtree.
