Wilma Ann Brewer, 83, of Greenville, passed away on October 18, 2023, at her home surrounded by her loving family. A graveside service will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at the Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.
Wilma was born on June 3, 1940, in Adams City, Colorado to William Adelbert VanWert and Florence Satornino VanWert. She married John Brewer on June 6, 1959, in Denver, Colorado. Wilma loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was a wonderful painter of flowers, loved to do crafts, was an excellent cook, and loved decorating for the holidays.
Wilma is survived by her son, Todd Brewer, daughters, Cynthia Meek and Crystal Averitt, grandchildren, Nicole Burns and husband, Richard, Sarah Brewer, Alexander Brewer, great-grandchildren, Tristan Burns and Brantley Burns.
Wilma is preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters, Della and Barbara, brother, Charles William, and son-in-law, James K. Meek.
Pallbearers will be Todd Brewer, Alexander Brewer, Tristan Burns, and Richard Burns.
