Noah Fletcher Blackwell, affectionately known as “Ducky,” passed away on October 24, 2024, at the age of 21 in Greenville. Born on March 2, 2003, to Roseanna Ringo and Greg Blackwell Sr., Ducky’s warmth and joy touched the lives of everyone he met.

With an infectious smile and a heart full of compassion, Ducky had a unique ability to uplift those around him. His playful “aggravation” of his siblings was always good-natured, bringing laughter and love to their home. He had a passion for music and could often be found dancing, camping, or gaming with friends. Fishing trips with his brothers, cousins, and anyone willing to join him were cherished adventures, and he never missed an opportunity to shoot hoops with friends.

Ducky is survived by his loving parents, Greg Blackwell Sr., Roseanna Ringo, and Kenneth Ringo; his cherished grandparents, Lee and Vesta Damron and Morya LeLean; brothers Nathaniel Damron, Calvin Blackwell, Gregory Blackwell Jr., Aaron, and Ryan Ringo; sister LeAnna Blackwell; and niece Evelynn Damron. He leaves behind a host of cousins, including Michael Lutz, Matthew Lutz, Marissa Lutz-Slemmons, Brionna, Aiden, Connor Jenkins, along with aunt and uncles Misty Damron Lutz, Rodney Dyer, and Ryan Jenkins.

He is preceded in death by his beloved Aunt Melissa Damron-Jenkins, Uncle Matt Lutz Sr., and grandparents Winfred L. and Norma Damron, Donald and Earlene Fenter, and David Blackwell.

A memorial service to celebrate Ducky’s life will be held at the Elks Lodge TBD. Family and friends are invited to come together to share memories, stories, and laughter, just as Ducky would have wanted.
