Mary Sue was a Christian and lived her life according to God’s principles. She was a homemaker who devoted her life to raising her children and supporting her husband in his career.  Her life with Dean took her to many places including Dallas, Austin, Houston, Seattle, and Phoenix before bringing her back to her beloved Club Lake. Her family was her world. They remember her for her unconditional love, her cooking, her sense of humor, and her love of being with them wherever they were. When asked, her grandchildren said, their “Nana lived to help others and taught them to place family before everything else. When someone needed something or to talk, she opened her door and served a hot meal which made the world seem right.” That, “She was home – safe, comforting, welcoming, loving, and embracing. She was patient and graceful.” The family will miss her beyond what words can convey. She was truly one-of-a-kind.
