Brenda LaJune McFarlin, 66, of Lone Oak, Texas, passed away on November 17, 2023, at Hunt Regional Medical Center. A funeral will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at 2:00 pm at the chapel of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with Mr. Rick Patterson officiating. Visitation will be 1:00 P.M. until service time.
Brenda was born October 29, 1957, in Greenville, Texas to Billy Don and Lillie Estalene Broughton Bowen. She married Jimmy McFarlin on July 16, 2006, in Commerce, Texas. She worked as a caregiver and was of the Pentecostal faith.
She is survived by her husband, Jimmy McFarlin; sons, Shaun Michael, Jason McFarlin; daughter, Melissa McFarlin; sister, Donna Bowen; grandchildren, Rayven McFarlin, Adrian; and great-grandchild, KaMorah JayLani.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, William and sister, Rebecca Evans.
