Donny was a son, brother, and husband.
He was born in Dallas, TX and raised in Mesquite, TX, eventually settling down in West Tawakoni, TX. He was the son of Billy Don Farrington Sr. and Margaret Darlene Williams. His stepfather, James Williams, played a significant role for over 30 years in Donny’s life. He has one brother, Billy Farrington, of Sachse, TX. He has two sisters, Darla Young of Dallas, TX and Karla Blythe of Poetry, TX. He has many nephews and one niece.
Donny has many things he loved to do, including fishing, woodwork and studying science as well as stars and planets. He was filled with knowledge on these topics. He also loved his music. Classic Rock and metal were his favorite. (Metallica, Rush and Breaking Benjamin to name a few).
He had a giving heart. If he saw some in the neighborhood who needed a hand at something, he was always willing to step in without expecting anything in return. This was just his nature. Donny loved life and the Lord.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Becky Farrington, father Billy Farrington, grandfather William Farrington, grandmother Dorothy Mooneyham, grandfather Sherman Pennington and grandmother Margaret Pennington.
We love Donny and he will be greatly missed.
