Sheila Faye (Veal) Allen, 77 passed away peacefully on March 13, 2021 surrounded by her loving family at her home in Wolfe City, Texas.

She was born March 3, 1944 to Clyde Vernon and Lillie Laverne (Huggins) Veal in Corinth, Mississippi.   She married the love of her life Henry M. Allen on October 12, 1962 in Cockrell Hill, Texas.

Sheila was a Truck Driver by trade and was employed by Covenant Transport for many years.

Anyone who knew Sheila knew she was very naturally gifted in working with many arts and crafts projects.  Among her favorites were her embroidery work and the rooms she designed in the many doll houses she created.

Placing family first in her life, she was a loving mother and grandmother who stayed actively involved in their lives.  She enjoyed every moment she spent with each one.

Sheila loved the Lord and was a faithful member of the Church of Christ.

She leaves a wonderful legacy and lasting memories for her family and friends.

Sheila is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Henry M. Allen; sons, Charles “Charlie” Allen, Rod Allen and his wife Angela; daughter, Sheri Busby and her husband Jimmy; grandchildren, Jacy Busby, Jimmy Busby, Jr., Trevor Wood, Marshall Allen, Brennan Allen, Kaysee Janes; great grandson, Miles Wood; brother, Billy Veal and his wife Gina; several nieces and nephews; favorite puppy dog, “Penny”; along with a host of loving relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Judy.

The family will host a Celebration of Life Service at a later date.
