Andrew “Lowell” Lawson, Jr. 84 of Greenville Texas passed away on February 22, 2022 at his home.
He was born on January 16, 1938 to Andrew Lowell, Sr. and Vallie (Brazzeal) Lawson in Macon, Georgia.
Lowell lived a full life and will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He proudly served his country in the US Navy Reserves.
He was a faithful member, deacon, and Sunday School teacher of Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Greenville. He served in many roles for E-Systems for 34 years and into retirement. He served on the Greenville Chamber of Commerce and with the Caddo Wildlife Association.
Lowell is survived by his son, Andy Lawson, III; grandchildren, Haley Cottey, Meg Layman, Emily King, Madison Lawson, Jake Lawson, Jared Lawson, Tanner Lawson; great-grandchildren, Adeline Cottey, Anya Cottey, Harvey Lawson, Jordan Lawson; beloved cousin, Genie Brazzeal; along with a host of loving relatives and friends.
Lowell is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Carol Belle Few Lawson; son, Steve Lawson; brother, John Lawson.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, February 25, 2022 at Ridgecrest Baptist Church with Pastor Matt Beasley officiating. Interment will follow at the East Mount Cemetery. Serving as Pallbearers will be Jake Lawson, Jared Lawson, Tanner Lawson, C.J. Cottey, Aaron Layman, and Dakota King.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM- 8:00 PM on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at Lynch Funeral Service in Greenville, Texas.
