Arthur Royce Johnson, 88, of Greenville passed away on February 21, 2023. A graveside service will be Friday, February 24, 2023, at 1:00 PM at Forest Grove Cemetery in Telephone, Texas with Rev. Jimmy Vaughn officiating. Visitation will start at 12:30 PM until service time at the cemetery.
Arthur was born on November 16, 1934, in Honey Grove, Texas to Ray Johnson and Mary Elizabeth Archer. Arthur worked as a maintenance man for Coca-Cola and for Monkey Grip Services.
Arthur is survived by sons William “Bill” Johnson and companion Kathy Dayberry, Norman Johnson and companion Linda Dayberry, granddaughter Jillian Spur and husband Steven, one great-grandchild, sister Jean Lackey and several nieces and nephews.
Arthur is preceded in death by his parents and 3 sisters.
