Bobby Girdner, 93, of Greenville, Texas, passed on February 10, 2024, surrounded by his family.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at the chapel of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with Rev. James Seigler officiating. Burial will follow at Jacobia Cemetery. Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. until service time.
Bobby was born on September 28, 1930, to Howard Girdner and Maude Smith Girdner in the Jacobia Community, Hunt County, Texas.
He was the youngest of four children, he attended grade school in Jacobia and attended and graduated from Greenville High School.
Bobby married Martha Lee Alexander on November 5, 1960 in Greenville, Texas. He was a dairy farmer and later an aircraft electrician, where he retired from E-Systems.
He is survived by his daughters, Jean Fugitt and husband, Jeff, Janet Girdner; grandsons, Brandon Fugitt, Brett Fugitt and wife, Kim; and great-grandson, Atlas Fugitt.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife; sister, Evelyn Mulkey and brothers, Smith Girdner and Hayward Girdner.
