Gary Lynn Martin, 55 of Caddo Mills, Texas, passed away on November 15, 2019 in Dallas. Funeral services will be 10 A.M., Monday, November 18, 2019 at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jay Sikes officiating. Burial will be in Caddo Mills I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 P.M. – 6 P.M., Sunday, November 17, 2019 at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.Mr. Martin was born in Dallas, Texas on April 29, 1964 to L.B. (Pepper) Martin and Alice Louise Grindle Martin. He married Melba Perkins on February 14, 2003 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He worked for Teamsters. He was a member of Paradise Baptist Church in Caddo Mills and was a member of the Greenville Masonic Lodge #335, and Shriners in Dallas.
He is survived by his wife, Melba Martin; sons, Brent and wife, Miranda Martin of Mabank, Phillip and Andrea Martin of Greenville and Christopher Martin of Wolfe City; daughter, Lana and husband, Brad Chambers of Mabank; step-daughter, Shonda and Robert Hill of Lavon; brothers, Larry Martin of Caddo Mills and Richard Martin of Greenville; brother, David Pollard of Rowlett; eleven grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, L.B. Martin, Jr., and a brother, Harold Pollard.
Pallbearers will be Rod Cuevas, Larry Daniels, Rick Martinez, Mark McMahan, Tod McMahan and Lee Swafford. Honorary pallbearers will be Brent Taylor, David Stroope, Joe Piazza and Tim Gilliam.
