Gregory Scott Butler 63, of Quinlan, Texas went to be with his Lord and Savior, Monday, August 24, 2020 in Greenville, Texas. A graveside service under the direction of Ingram Funeral Home will be held at 1:30 P.M. August 28, 2020 at Union Grove Cemetery in Wills Point, Texas. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. at Generation Faith Church in Quinlan.
Mr. Butler was born July 20, 1957 in Norman, Oklahoma. He was the son of the late Marvin Corbet Butler, Sr. and Goldie Mae Butler.
He loved his music, helping with benefits, being with family and friends, as well as boating and fishing. He was a very loving and giving man with a heart of gold. He was always the life of the party as well as a great storyteller. He is preceded in death by his brother Marvin Corbet Butler, Jr. in 2003 and sister Linda Gayle Parkey in 2020.
He is loved by so many and will be missed very much by his wife of 43 years Helen Butler of Quinlan, Texas; sisters Pat Richardson of West Tawakoni, Texas, Mary Thompson of Quinlan, Texas; sisters-in-law Susan, Carol, and Dorothey; brothers-in-law Lee and Earl Mack of California. He will also be missed by his 67 nieces and 63 nephews and his 5 dogs that loved him so much. He will surely be missed and remembered by so many. R.I.P. Our Warrior!
