Harold Lloyd Thompson, 88, of Greenville, passed away on July 23, 2019 at Medical City Plano. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 25, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the chapel of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with Rev. John Foster officiating. Burial will follow at Memoryland Memorial Park. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Harold was born in Wieland, Texas on March 10, 1931 to Carl and Jewel Bagwell Thompson. He married Joyce Thompson on December 18, 1976 in Greenville, Texas. Harold worked at E-Systems where he was Manager of Maintenance for the Presidential Fleet of Aircraft. He enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing, hunting and after retirement he went into the cattle business. He was a member of Highland Terrace Baptist Church and a past Board of Directors for the Hunt County Fair.
Harold is survived by his children, Harold Keith Thompson, Leah K. Garrett and husband, Kelly; stepchildren, Connie Holder and husband, Mike, Charles Click; brother, Charlie Thompson and wife, Wanda; grandchildren, Chaz Garrett and wife, Linzy, Ashli Davis and husband, Chance, Kyle Thompson and wife, Andrea, Heather Thompson, Lance Thompson, Kailey Thompson, Casey Click and wife, Lisa, Corey Pegg and husband, Pete, Kristina Moser, Amanda Click; and great-grandchildren, Kaila Davis, Kilee Davis, Jackson Garrett, Parker Garrett, Makenzie Garrett, Ellie Thompson, Nolan Thompson, Nathaniel Click, Thomas Click, Jonathan Click, Jacob Pegg, Davis Pegg, Jacob Moser and Olivia Moser.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife; 2 sisters and a brother.
