Harold Wayne Matlock Sr., 81, of Commerce, passed away on Friday, February 07, 2020 in Greenville, TX.
Harold was born in Clarksville, TX on August 12, 1938 to Coe Edgar Matlock and Nellie Mae Rushing Matlock. Harold married Naomi Lauderdale on March 22, 1960 in Durant, OK. They had one son Harold Wayne Matlock Jr.
Harold worked for the Commerce Fire Department.
Harold is survived by his son Harold Wayne Matlock Jr., sister Gladys Mae Goss; brothers: Jerry Matlock (Joanna), Johnny Matlock and Herbert Matlock. He is also survived by a beloved granddaughter Leslie and numerous nieces, nephews and other family.
Harold was preceded by his wife Naomi, both parents, sisters: Clovy Cagle, Doris Faye Moses and Ruby Nell Easley; brothers: Carl Ray Matlock, Ted Matlock and Joe Matlock.
Graveside services will be held at Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Rosemound Cemetery in Commerce, TX.
