In loving memory of Nancy Kaye Brown who passed away December 27, 2023.
Kaye was born on August 14, 1943 in Royse City, Texas. She grew up in Royse City and graduated from Royse City High School.
Kaye married her husband Bill Brown in 1966 and together they had two daughters Leslie and Dorsey.
Throughout her life, Kaye was known for her love of her family and friends, entertaining, and her creativity. She enjoyed collecting antiques with her husband. She was an excellent cook, seamstress, and florist, and loved traveling and spending time with her family.
Kaye was dedicated to everything. She was involved in the community with the Beautify Greenville project and participated regularly in the Blackland Players theatre company and Follies.
The job she loved most was being a wife, mother, and grandmother. She cherished spending time with her husband, daughters, and their families.
Kaye is survived by her daughters Leslie Jenkins and husband Mark, Dorsey Martensen and her husband Blake. Her grandchildren Kendall McAllister and Husband Kyle, Morgan Jenkins, McClain, Marlowe, and Burke Martensen, great-grandson Beckham McAllister, and a brother BJ Watkins and wife Deb.
She is preceded in death by her Husband Bill Brown, mother, and father.
A visitation will be held on January 4, 2024 from 1:00-2:45 at Coker Mathews Funeral Home with a graveside service to follow at 3:00 p.m. at Memoryland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Audie Murphy/American Cotton Museum or Wesley United Methodist Church.
