Patsy “Pat” Bess (Irwin) Horton 78 of Greenville, Texas passed away on February 11, 2021 after a brief illness in Dallas, Texas
She was born February 9, 1943 to William Bruce and Mary (Horton) Irwin in Greenville, Texas.
Pat loved life and lived it to its fullest. She walked with the Lord and knew Him intimately. She was a faithful and active member of Highland Terrace Baptist Church, Greenville, Texas.
She worked hard and excelled in sales in multiple commodities including furniture, cosmetics, and building construction products. She specifically cherished the years she worked for Rubermaid in Greenville, Texas.
Pat stayed active and involved with the senior citizen circles around Greenville, Texas. She thoroughly enjoyed the fun times they had and she cherished the life long friendships she made.
In addition she was known for the beautiful flower gardens that she kept. She enjoyed countless hours working her green thumb in these gardens. Also,she loved to travel.
She leaves lasting and wonderful memories for her family and friends.
Pat is survived by two children, a son, Richard Jordan and his wife Gekita of Greenville, Texas and a daughter, Faunda Butler and her husband Charles of Dalton Gardens, Idaho; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; her brother, William Frank Irwin and his wife Donna of Garland, Texas; one niece; one nephew; along with a host of loving relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Sara Butler; twin brother, Ronald Irwin.
The family will have a memorial service on Monday, February 15, 2021 at 1 PM at Lynch Funeral Service Chapel in Greenville, TX. Pat will be inurned and laid to rest at Forest Park Cemetery in Greenville, Texas also at a later date.
