Conrad, Steve Earl MMC (SW) US Navy Ret., 61. “Chief” reported for duty with his Supreme Commander in Chief, God Almighty on January 25, 2020. Steve was born in Billings, Missouri to Arvene and Lois Conrad on October 26, 1958. He graduated from Billings High School in 1976 and promptly joined the United States Navy. He served honorably 20 years as a Machinist Mate. He worked at St. Johns Regional Hospital in Springfield, MO before settling in Texas and working through the Steamfitters and Pipefitters Union 100 for several companies in the Dallas, TX area.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents Arvene and Lois Conrad, his father in law Junior Reynolds, ETCM US Navy, his brother in law James Atwell, and his son Kenneth Murray (Sgt. US Army).
Chief Conrad is survived by his wife of 38 years, Carol Reynolds-Conrad, daughter Shannon Berlett Bodine (Brett), son Matthew Conrad, sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews. Chief Conrad left five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
