Tammie Lucille Ellison, 60, of Commerce (formally of Caddo Mills) passed away on July 7, 2023. She was born on May 5, 1963 in Columbia, South Carolina.
We lost the greatest woman to ever walk this planet. Tammy “Mimi” Ellison, was a blessing. There was not a child or adult that didn’t feel the abundance of love that this woman put off. To know her was a blessing and to love her, well that was a feeling that no words could ever describe. Mimi, your wings were ready, but dang it, our hearts were not. The pain of losing you is something we will never be able to get over, but we are so thankful you are no longer in pain, and we know you had the best welcoming ever when you crossed through the golden gates. We will be strong as a family, and keep the crying to a minimum because we know that is all you’d ever want. And don’t you worry about Papa, we will continue to drive him crazy and make sure he’s never alone.
She is survived by her loving husband, David Schramm; son Leslie Ellison of Commerce Texas; daughters: Amanda Lawson and husband Jerry of Caddo Mills, Arire Ellison of Commerce, and Lova Jenkins and husband Roy of Kaufman; sister Randi Marie Moore of Livingston; grandchildren: Lacey Plumb and husband Chris, Lillian Lawson, Chandler Wells, Angus Aldridge, Audrina Aldridge, Aubrey Aldridge, Madeline Jenkins, Megan Peek, Matthew Peek; and great-grandchildren: Brex, KJ, Easton, Willow, Blake, Kennedy, and London.
A celebration of life will be held in Tammy’s honor, with more information at a later date.
