Amelia Amorel Churchwell, 12, of Royse City, Texas, passed away on August 17, 2020 in Royse City. A visitation will be Saturday, August 22, 2020 from 10:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will follow at 5:00 P.M. at The Fauss Home, 3896 FM 3211, Caddo Mills, Texas 75135.
Amelia was born on September 13, 2007 in Reno, Nevada. She was a 7th grade student at Ouida Baley Middle School. She participated in band last year and looked forward to playing volleyball and track this year. She was great with children, loved the music and the outdoors, loved all animals and wanted to become a Veterinarian when she was older.
She is survived by her parents, Dan and Sharon Churchwell; brothers, Tyler Churchwell and Alan Jenkins; sister, Emma Kearbey; grandmother, Shirley Kearbey; aunts, Brenda Klushin and husband, Alex, Cindi Churchwell, Crystal Ethridge and Cristina Kearbey.
She was preceded in death by her Nana and Papa.
