Judy Sanders, 78, of Greenville, passed away on December 17, 2022, in Greenville, Texas. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chet Haney officiating. Interment will be in Brigham Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Sanders was born December 28, 1943, in Greenville, Texas to Roy Sheltman and Madge Pope. She married Jerry Len Sanders on May 7, 1960, in Madill, Oklahoma. She worked for the Lance Corporation and then as a Special Education Aide for Greenville ISD for many years. She was a member of Highland Terrace Baptist Church.
Judy loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed the many hours spent with her great group of friends going out to eat, playing cards, dominos and bunko.
She is survived by her sons, Terry Sanders and wife, Donna, and Stenson Sanders and wife, Allison; grandchildren, Terrah Holder and husband, Anthony, Taylore Sanders and husband, Zach, Keller Sanders and wife, Audria, Kelsey Sanders, Keli Nestrick and husband, Heath, Austin Sanders and Stenson Sanders, II; and twelve great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brother, Roy “Sonny” Sheltman, and sister, Peggy Daniels.
Pallbearers are Zach Barnes, Chuck Brown, Gary DeGarso, Ronnie DeGarso, Heath Nestrick, Austin Sanders, Keller Sanders, and Stenson Sanders, II.
Memorials may be made to Highland Terrace Baptist Church.
