Ida Jeanne (Price) Meyer, 83, of Greenville, Texas passed away on February 12, 2024. Jeanne was born on January 21, 1941, to Charles B. and Mary C. (Walsh) Price in Texarkana, Texas.
Jeanne married the love of her life, Klaus-Dieter Meyer in December of 1970. Together they built the life of their dreams.
Having an extensive homestead, Jeanne and Klaus built a wildlife preservation to be proud of. Jeanne was passionate about and skilled in photography, and she took thousands of photographs of all kinds of beautiful wildlife. Also, she enjoyed horseback riding.
Jeanne will be remembered for being as pretty as a rose, and as strong as steel.
Jeanne is survived by her loving husband, Klaus-Dieter Meyer; daughter, Stacy Himstedt; daughter-in-law, Cindy Himstedt; stepdaughter, Kristi Meyer; stepson, Karl Meyer; sister, Yvonne Yates; brother, Richard Price; and her beloved dachshund, “Fritzl.”
Jeanne is preceded in death by her son, William Himstedt.
